Welcome to the Axmouth website.

We hope that this website will become the first port of call for information on the village and its surrounding area. The site is administered by the Parish Council but is for all the community and for visitors to the community. The aim is also for the site to become an e-noticeboard for Axmouth - it is in its early stages at present and we anticipate changes as use is made of it.

Axmouth parish, with a population of some 500, includes the picturesque Axmouth Harbour and the Axe Estuary, an important wetlands site for birds. Axmouth village has many listed buildings, including St Michael's church, and it has two pubs and a camp site. There are further small settlements at Dowlands, Stedcombe Vale, and Boshill, the whole parish being within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The coastline includes the Undercliffs National Nature Reserve, part of the 'Jurassic Coast', with its geological and wildlife interest.

On this website you will find information about the Parish Council, and about the Parish Plan. You will also find links to community groups and services, and to leisure activities and facilities. As the site is still being developed this information is not yet comprehensive: please contact us if you have ideas or questions or wish to add a link.
